Food and drinks were donated by local residents who were all invited.Freshly barbequed meats, burgers and vegetables were available to buy. Play equipment and games were provided for children throughout the day and a talent competition took place in the evening.
Christine Williams, a local resident “The organisation was great. Everyone coming and enjoying themselves has been absolutely beautiful. This is what community spirit is all about, what more can we want? The sun is out, everyone seems to be merry. God bless the Queen and us to be able to enjoy this”.
